Tips for your first appointment.
Consider your treatment goals.
Do you have an idea of what you’d like to get out of our sessions? If so, bringing those ideas will give me a better idea of what to focus on in our time together. Common things people ask for are peace with food, better body image, or to help their child heal from an eating struggles. While I don’t focus on weight loss, many of my clients desire it (we’re American, right!). I’m comfortable talking through your weight loss desires and concerns with you and allow you to decide if working with me is the best choice for you or not.
Fill out required paperwork before we meet.
To provide you with the best care possible, there are a few forms you’ll need to complete prior to scheduling (ugh, I know!). Filling those out prior to our first meeting will allow me to complete necessary assessments that tailor my treatment to you and helps me to know what to cover in our first session.
Save valuable appointment time - know your payment options.
I want to make our sessions as valuable to you as possible, and the more time we have to focus on what will help you, the better! A credit card is required to be on file to schedule, however, it is only used if insurance doesn’t cover your services or for no-show/late cancellation fees. When a credit card is on file I simply run the card once our session ends or the insurance claim processes.
